Jenny Han
Piano Teacher, Founder of Kirkland Piano Studio
Jenny graduated summa cum laude from Berklee College of Music. She began studying the piano at the age of three. By age eight, she had already won first place in the International Youth Piano Competition. Before she went to Berklee, she has studied piano at UGA under Professor Dr. Evegeny Rivkin, a New York Carnegie Hall Concert Pianist from the Moscow Conservatory of Music. She was awarded a piano pedagogy award and received a full scholarship. In 2019, her continuous passion for learning led her to The Royal Conservatory of Music, where she completed their teacher certification program and received "The Royal Conservatory of Music Teacher Certification." As an RCM-certified teacher and active member, Jenny teaches students the RCM Certificate Program for piano and music theory. Jenny is a professional piano educator and passionate pianist. She has taught hundreds of students, including children from the age of 4, teenagers, and adults. She teaches students ranging from beginner to advanced. And teaches all music genres, including classical, pop, jazz, or contemporary, and enjoys teaching any student who is eager to learn. Jenny is a patient and committed teacher who cares about each student. Her greatest joy is seeing her students' smiles whenever they master a song, complete a level book, pass exams, or win competitions. Jenny was invited as a Judge to several music festivals, such as the Music Festival at the ICS 2020. She is also a member of the Music Teachers National Association. Mrs. Han founded Kirkland Music Studio in 2009, and since then, she has taught students in the Washington area, including Seattle, Kirkland, Bellevue, Redmond, Edmond, Woodinville, Renton, Lynnwood, and Everette. Jenny believes that playing music is something that everybody can enjoy and is essential and beneficial, especially in the development of children. She considers herself a passionate, creative, positive, patient, and reflective teacher. She loves to listen and communicate with students and parents. She is looking forward to meeting you soon!
